Three schools, one journey

Choosing a school is really two decisions: where your child starts, and where they finish. With Wesbury Schools, you can settle both at once.

Start at Hibberdene Academy (Grade RR–11). The early years set the tone for everything after them, so it matters that teachers there know their learners by name and give the youngest children room to find their feet.

Choose your high school (Grades 8–12). When that time comes, families branch to one of the two Port Shepstone schools. Both hold the same standard of care and work towards the same thing: a learner who finishes Matric ready for what comes next. At Wesbury College of Science, science and technology shape the school day. At Port Shepstone International High School, learners join a well-established independent high school in the heart of Port Shepstone.

It's one admissions conversation, not three. Teachers and principals get to know your child's story, and the campuses sit close together on the South Coast — so moving up never takes your family far from home.

What makes Wesbury Schools different

One path from Grade RR to Matric. A child can start in Grade RR at Hibberdene Academy and stay in one school community for years, continuing to Matric at one of the two Grade 8–12 schools. Fewer school changes, less upheaval.

A choice of academic direction. In Port Shepstone you can pick between a dedicated science college and a well-established independent high school, so the Grade 8 choice can actually fit your child.

Transparent fees, published openly. Every grade at every school is on this website, with monthly instalment options and the 5% sibling discount. No phone calls needed just to see a number.

Community and care. "Every child known, every child valued" is how the three schools expect their staff to treat learners — on an ordinary Tuesday, not just on special occasions.

Life on our campuses

There's more to a school than its timetable. Sport and cultural activities run alongside lessons at all three campuses, and each has its own daily rhythm. The best way to get a feel for a school is to be in it for an hour — visit on a normal school day and see for yourself.
