Terms of Service
Last updated: 28 September 2026
Scope
These terms apply to the wesburyschools.com website and to all official Wesbury Schools Group social media channels, including our accounts on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and X. Wesbury Schools Group operates from Port Shepstone, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. By using the website or interacting with our official channels, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.
Intellectual property
All content on this website and our official channels — including text, the school crest and logos, photographs, videos, design elements and learners’ work — belongs to Wesbury Schools Group or is used with permission, and is protected by South African and international copyright law. You may view, download and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not reuse, reproduce, republish or distribute any of this content — including photographs and learners’ work — without our written permission. To ask for permission, contact the school office via the contact details on our Contact page.
Acceptable use
When using this website and our official channels, you agree not to:
- use them for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could harm the school, its learners, its staff or others;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its accounts, or any related systems;
- interfere with the website’s operation, or introduce viruses or other harmful code;
- submit false, misleading or impersonated information through our forms or channels; or
- copy content from the website using automated tools without our permission.
Social media community rules
Our official social media accounts are moderated. We welcome questions, feedback and celebration of school life, but we may hide or remove comments that are abusive, hateful, discriminatory, defamatory, obscene, off-topic, spam, or that disclose a learner’s or any other person’s personal information. Serious or repeated breaches may result in a user being blocked, and, where appropriate, being reported to the platform or the authorities. Comments and posts made by members of the public are the views of their authors, and not of Wesbury Schools Group. The social platforms themselves control how their services work — we cannot control their features, algorithms, outages or policy changes.
General information only
Content on this website and our official channels is provided for general information. It does not replace official school documents. Fees, dates, admission requirements and school policies are confirmed only in the official documents issued by the school, such as the enrolment contract, the fee schedule and the prospectus. If anything on this website or our social channels conflicts with an official school document, the official document prevails.
Links to other websites
Our website and social channels may link to other websites for convenience. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, availability, accuracy or privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement.
Limitation of liability
This website is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, Wesbury Schools Group is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website or our official channels — including any inaccuracy in the content, or any temporary interruption or unavailability of the website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
Changes to these terms
We may amend these terms at any time by publishing the updated version on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Continuing to use the website or our official channels after a change takes effect means you accept the amended terms.
Privacy
Your privacy matters to us. How we collect, use and protect personal information — including information submitted through this website — is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
